I am very, very excited that the weather here in Utah is finally starting to warm up - although I have to say that I did hope we would have at least a few days of nice spring temperatures before jumping into the 80’s and 90’s. But, I am NOT complaining. Yesterday was just gorgeous - it was warm and sunny and an absolutely perfect day to head up Provo canyon for Krista & Tanner’s engagement session. Here is a quick preview

Here are a couple of photos of Jenna and Adam on their wedding day! I just LOVE Jenna’s reaction to Father Flegge during the ceremony. I had a blast with these guys and all of their family and friends were amazing. It was great to meet them all! Here’s a quick look . . . more to come

I was so excited to go to the Great Salt Lake to photograph Amanda and Travis for their engagements. It was cold and happened to be raining pretty hard in the city but we were so lucky that the weather was clear at the lake. Here’s a little peek . . .

Here is a quick preview of the gorgeous Jillian and Ryan from their hitched & haute session at Thanksgiving Point. I’m so excited for their wedding this week!!! I’ll blog more from this session later but here is a little taste for now . . .

Linda won one of my free engagement sessions at a bridal fair - YEA! I loved shooting these two gorgeous people and they had me laughing the whole time. They were troopers - even when we got caught in a hail storm they STILL stuck in there and we got some really cool shots! Here are a couple of Linda & Lance . . .

Heather & Jared were so fun to hang out with at Memory Grove park during their engagement session. These two were so relaxed - - I mean really, really relaxed and laid back during the shoot. I LOVE it when people feel so comfortable and ultimately you end up with the best photos that way! Here’s a preview from their engagement session . . .

Aren’t Heather’s eyes stunning!
I had a really fun hitched & haute session with Niki & Quinn at the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They decided to get dressed up in their wedding day clothes and have a haute photo session before they got hitched! It’s such a great idea to do this so that you have fun, relaxed photo’s and don’t have to worry or be stressed out (and worn out) on your wedding day. Here are a couple of preview pics. . .

I met with Natalie at a bridal fair in Layton this Spring and she booked me right there on the spot! I loved talking to her and her mom and I was so happy to finally meet Jeremy when we did their engagement session at Thanksgiving Point.

We had so much fun but it was crazy windy and v-e-r-y cold!

We found a fun little play area and then ducked into the cool art gallery for a break from the wind!

I had sooo much fun guys!
My husband just had a birthday and we had a fun visit from our grandson to celebrate the occasion! I got down on the floor and rolled around with him to get some fun shots.
Isn’t he just the cutest!

I couldn’t help laughing when he stuck his tongue out while he was getting dressed to go out - - so stinkin cute!

This was our favorite pose! We would all just bust up laughing when he would do this one. This was his reaction to my laugh. He’s scooting around pretty good - won’t be long before he’s actually crawling…then walking…then driving…. *sigh* ….
The Bridal Extravaganza at the South Towne Expo Center was a LOT of fun! I was only there for a few hours so if you stopped by to see me I’m sorry I wasn’t able to chat with you, but send me an email or give me a call! I left the fair for a few hours to head over to Thanksgiving Point to meet up with Natalie & Jeremy for their engagement session - it was cooold but so much fun (I’ll post photos soon)!
My booth was next to the amazing girls from Blue Bijou and Black Door Floral. These guys know their stuff and had beautiful jewelry and fabulous florals at the show.

I have another show next weekend on Saturday, April 19th at UVSC so stop in to say hi and check out the amazing vendors that are sure to be there!

Ok, first just let me say that I had a really great time with Jillian and Ryan during their engagement session. We spent about 6 hours together (you’d think they would have gotten sick of me - btw, thanks for the soda guys!). They met in photography class - which is just too cool - and we actually took some pictures next to the building that “brought them together”. We drove up the canyon and made a few little stops and I got to see where these two hang out all the time. We also stopped by the Snowbasin lodge where they will be getting married and took a few quick photographs. After that we headed back to town and took some fun photos at the park. The day was chilly but it was so beautifully sunny that I really loved just being outside with these gorgeous people. You can just see how in love they are in every photo - and really feel it just being around them!

Thanks guys! I can’t wait for the wedding!!!

I loved photographing Angelina & Lane at the Salt Lake Temple after they were sealed. It was AWESOME to see Liz & Jeff again too and so many other members of the family with familiar faces!!! (Liz is Angelina’s sister who flew in from NY to get married here at the Salt Lake Temple in 2006) We were so lucky that the weather was nice and even a little warm for us.
Angelina & Lane

I LOVE Angelina’s toe ring peeking through her stockings (I wear mine ALL year too!) and Lane’s shoes are just too cool . . .

Thanks guys!
Well…after much frustration with my old laptop computer, which had the exciting new Vista operating system, I have decided I needed to get something that worked better and was more reliable . . . soooo. . . I got a new laptop with the old windows operating system and I LOVE it!!! It just got here…yea…and it’s pink

even though it isn’t the “top of the line” laptop like my old Vista one, it works beautifully and I LOVE DELL!!! They have amazing customer service!
